St. Amant volleyball camp set for June 17

The St. Amant volleyball camp will be held June 17-19 at St. Amant High in the back gym from 9 a.m. until noon each day. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m.

The camp will be put on by the St. Amant volleyball team, their head coach Allison Didier Leake and her assistants Rae Didier and Laney Gautreau.

Cost of the camp will be $65 per player. All checks must be made payable to St. Amant volleyball with the participant's name included on the check. Registration will be $50 if done before May 28.

The camp is open to players in kindergarten through ninth grade.

Each player will receive small-group instruction on serving, passing, setting and spiking. The instruction will be from basic to advanced depending on the player's knowledge, and the players will be grouped according to their ability.

Participants must bring kneedpads, tennis shoes and water bottles.
