Ascension Cougars football registration set for June 1

Ascension Cougars Youth Football, based in Gonzales, is having registration on Saturday, June 1 at Trinity AME Church, 1420 South Darla Ave. (next to Gonzales Middle School) from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., for football and cheerleading. This is open to boys and girls ages 5-12 years old. Registration fees are $130 for football and $100 for cheerleading.

You can also do registration online at the website www.leaguelineup.com/ascensioncougars or mail registration to Ascension Cougars Youth Football, P.O. Box 1433, Gonzales, LA 70707 (Registration form can be found in the handout section on the website).

Each football player will be provided a helmet, shoulder pads, game jersey, game pants, game socks and mouth guards. Parents need to supply a chin strap, cleats, practice jersey and practice pants.
