Charity Ride and Run set for April 13

Friends, family and East Ascension High School have teamed up to help prevent student athletes from falling victim to sudden cardiac failure in Ascension Parish by hosting the Third Annual One Can Make a Difference Charity Ride and Run on April 13 at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales.

Join the One Can team and help prevent tragic loss in the community. Sign up to participate in the 30-mile bike ride, 5K Family Bike Ride or 5K run. If the events do not appeal to you but you want to help, then consider sponsoring someone or simply making a donation. On April 13, check-in will be at 7:30 a.m. followed by the 30-mile bike ride at 8 and the 5K run/walk at 8:30. At 9:30, the post-race activities will commence. These include: food, drinks, prize drawings and givaways.
