Green Bay Packers running back and former Dutchtown Griffin Eddie Lacy was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year over the weekend.

Despite missing a game due to a concussion, Lacy ended the year with 1,178 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns en route to becoming a Pro Bowl selection.

In his huge rookie season, he broke the 100-yard mark four times and ran for 141 yards or more twice. In addition to the yards on the ground, Lacy also had 35 catches for 257 yards in the Packers' run to the playoffs.
