Gremillion makes All-State volleyball team

St. Amant volleyball standout Kara Gremillion was recently selected to the Louisiana Volleyball Coaches Association's All-State team. She was the only volleyball player from the parish to earn a spot.

Gremillion has continued to establish herself as one of the best athletes in the state. Along with being named Female Athlete of the Year, she recently signed to play softball at UL-Lafayette.

In volleyball this season, Gremillion helped lead the Lady Gators to a 31-12 record, district championship and a trip to the Volleyball State Tournament. They reached the semifinals before losing to top-seeded St. Joseph's Academy.

Gremillion was also named the District 3-5A (Division I) MVP.
