Ascension Christian takes down Christian Life

The Ascension Christian Lady Lions traveled to Christian Life Academy yesterday and walked away with a shutout victory. They won in straight sets by scores of: 25-17, 25-9 and 25-16.

Sidney Sehon was the leader in kills for Ascension Christian as she piled up 12 of them. Reyna Jones was not too far behind with eight of her own.

Victoria Schexnayder led both teams in assists with 17 while Tori Whaley of Christian Life had a game-high 17 digs.

The loss drops Christian Life to 5-2 in the district and 7-7 overall while the Lady Lions have cruised out to a perfect 6-0 mark in district play. And they now bolster a 8-4 record.

Ascension Christian will go on the road again for their next match. They'll be facing East Iberville.
