Bourgeois signs with Southeastern

St. Amant track star Destiny Bourgeois signed her letters of intent last Wednesday to continue her stellar track career at Southeastern Louisiana University. She signed her papers in the Gold Dome alongside her parents, Trent and Deanna.

Bourgeois won the triple-jump at the District 5-5A meet and finished fifth at this year's state meet at LSU. Along with excelling from the field, Bourgeois has the school record for the 300 hurdles.
