St. Amant outfielder Kayla Braud officially signed with LSU-Eunice last Thursday.
She became the fourth Lady Gator to sign with the school--joining teammates Jordan Hartman, Madison Edmonston and Jaci Lavigne. Altogether, Braud became the sixth senior on St. Amant's roster to sign with a college.
Braud is one of St. Amant's most potent hitters and made first-team All-District 5-5A a year ago.
Her and the Lady Gators entered this year's playoffs as the top seed in the state at 28-2. They drew a first-round home game against Chalmette and won 5-1.
They will now host Sulphur in a second-round game on Friday.
