The LHSAA has released its boy’s soccer playoff brackets, and four parish teams have made the postseason.

In Division IV, Ascension Christian made the playoff field as the No. 16 seed.

The Lions finished the regular season with a 4-8-4 record, but that mark was deceptive. They played a tough schedule that featured five upper-classification opponents.

Ascension Christian will host a first-round game against No. 17 Delta Charter, a team that went 6-10-2.

In Division I, St. Amant earned the highest seed in the parish at No. 4.

The Gators went a superb 23-1-1 during the regular season. This included a nine-game winning streak to end the year.

They won the district title for a third straight season.

The Gators will have a first-round bye. In the second round, they’ll host the winner of No. 12 Pineville and No. 21 West Jefferson.

Dutchtown had the second-best seed at No. 9.

The Griffins went 15-2-1 during the regular season and finished as district runners-up.

They’ll host a first-round game against No. 24 Hammond. The Hurricanes went 10-8-1 during the regular season.

Finally, East Ascension made the playoffs as the No. 20 seed, after going 16-8-2.

The Spartans will go on the road in the first round to play No. 13 Grace King. Grace King went 14-1-3 during the regular season. They are currently riding an 11-game winning streak.
