Four parish boy's soccer teams make postseason

Yesterday, the LHSAA girl’s soccer playoff brackets were released, and all three Division-I programs made the field. Things have repeated themselves a day later.
The boy’s soccer brackets were released this afternoon, and St. Amant, Dutchtown and East Ascension have all earned their spots in the tournament.
St. Amant (17-2-5) has earned the highest parish seed for the second year in a row.
After winning back-to-back district titles for the first time in school history, they earned the No. 8 seed—which allows them to have a first-round bye.
They’ll play the winner of Denham Springs and Ponchatoula in the second round.
After finishing as runner-up in the district, Dutchtown (16-1-4) had to settle for the No. 10 seed. They’ll host Prineville (12-10-3) in first-round action.
Finally, East Ascension (14-7-3) garnered the No. 13 seed. The Spartans will host No. 20 Covington (9-5-1) in the first round.
Also, in Division IV, Ascension Christian (9-5-2) made the field as the No. 21 seed. They’ll go on the road to play St. Charles (11-7) in the opening round.
