The All-Metro golf and tennis teams were released with the parish being represented in each sport.

Ascension had the greatest impact in golf, placing four players on the Division I and II Baton Rouge area All-Metro squad.

Dutchtown's Logan Leary made the biggest splash. He was not only the parish's most successful golfer this season – he was one of the brightest stars in the state.

The sophomore was named first-team All-Metro and the area's Outstanding Player after helping the Griffins finish eighth at the LHSAA State Golf Championships in Carencro in May.

In individual competition, Leary finished 15th at the event. Throughout the course of the season, he led all local golfers in the state's top classes with a 1-under-par average in nine-hole regular-season matches.

Recently, Leary took part in the St. Francisville Area Foundation Junior at the Bluffs tournament and finished seventh among some of the best junior golfers in the world.

His teammate Joey Partin was also named to the All-Metro first team. Partin had a regular-season average of 1.50 and finished the state tournament tied for 19th.

East Ascension was represented by Trevor Adams. He was a first-team selection as he put together a 3.125 regular-season average.

St. Amant's Dylan Pastorick was selected to the first unit after putting together an average of 3.00 strokes over par throughout the year.

In tennis, one parish performer, Tanner Hillman (Dutchtown), made the area's All-Metro squad. He was an honorable-mention selection in singles competition.
