Ascension Athlete of the Week

This week’s Weekly Citizen Athlete of the Week, brought to you by Rouses Market, is junior running back Jai Williams of Ascension Catholic.

In the Bulldogs' 22-19 week seven loss to third-ranked Southern Lab, Williams carried the ball 35 times for 321 yards and three touchdowns.

On defense, he led the team with 11 tackles.

This is the third time this season that Williams has earned this honor.
