This summer, St. Amant High School will host five separate football camps.

There will be Gator Football Camps I and II. These camps will have instruction for aspiring football players of all positions. Head coach David Oliver and members of his Gator coaching staff will run the camps.

Camp I will be for players in first through fifth grades. It will be held June 6-9, from 6-8 p.m. each day.

Camp II will be for players in sixth through eighth grades. The days and times will be the same as Camp I.

There will be a Rising Stars camp. This camp is open to boys and girls and focuses on helping the athletes improve their speed, agility, quickness and strength.

It is open to those enrolled in the sixth through eighth grades. This camp will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting on June 7 and ending on June 30. There won’t be a session on June 16. The sessions will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

St. Amant will also host their Gator O-Line Academy for aspiring offensive linemen.

The camp will be open to athletes in third through eighth grades and will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from June 6-20. Each session will be from 10-11 a.m.

Finally, St. Amant will host their first ever Elite Tackle Instruction Camp.

This camp is open to athletes in first through sixth grades and will teach proper tackling technique. It will be held on July 5, from 6-8 p.m.

For these camps, players will need to bring cleats and shorts. Water will be provided.

All campers will receive a T-shirt at the end of the camp.

All camps will be held at the St. Amant High School football fields. If there is rain, the camp will be held inside.
