Another Gator set to play in Australia

St. Amant senior defensive back Jamie LeBlanc, Jr. will join teammate Elliot Turner on a trip to Australia this summer. They have been selected to play in the 28th annual Down Under Sports Tournaments.

Both players will be representing the Central Conference Football Team.

LeBlanc had a tremendous senior season with the Gators. He earned a spot as a starting cornerback and helped lead them to an 8-2 record and second-round playoff appearance. It was St. Amant's first playoff win since 2001.

LeBlanc was rewarded by being named second-team All-District 5-5A. He was also a second-team selection on the Weekly Citizen's All-Parish team.

In December, he played in the Army RedStick Bowl.

LeBlanc plans on attending LSU next fall.
