Lee ready to lead alma mater

Darnell Lee knows what it's like to don the blue and yellow and play in Spartan Stadium under the Friday night lights. Now, he'll see what it's like to patrol the sidelines as a head coach.

Lee is ready to lead his alma mater after being officially named the school's new head football coach and athletic director last Friday. The hire comes two months after Paul Bourgeois resigned a few days after the Spartans were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs due to health complications.
