St. Amant presented with parish champions poster

The Fighting Gators of St. Amant High School held their Football Awards Banquet on Sunday, Jan. 25, in the Commons Area of the school.

During the banquet, 29 seniors were recognized for their achievements on and off the field, stated St. Amant Booster Club President James E. LeBlanc.

The Gator Athletic Department also recognized all the coaches and their wives, the school administration, the Ascension School Board, the parents and players, the managers and trainers, the St. Amant High School Booster Club, Pit Stop Subway, Tureau’s Grocery, Rotolo’s, school support teams, the press box personnel, the chain gang field crew, the football field painting team, team doctors and physical therapists.

During the ceremony, the Gator Athletic Department and school's administration were presented with the 2014 Ascension Parish Champions Poster for the football team beating both East Ascension and Dutchtown this football season.

The poster developed by the St. Amant Booster Club is full of highlight pictures from these games along with the final scores of the games.
