For the third year in a row, the St. Amant High football team teamed up with the St. Amant Volunteer Fire Department to feed families in Ascension parish.
"The Gator football team collected over 1,900 pounds of nonperishable food items for needy families in Ascension parish," said Booster Club President James E. LeBlanc.
All food was delivered by the St. Amant Fire Department to local parish churches. It was also responsible for feeding 10 St. Amant needy families during Christmas, stated LeBlanc.
