Due to suspect field conditions at The Pit, the LeBlanc's Jamboree between East Ascension and St. Amant has been moved to Dutchtown.

The Gators' field is not quite ready to be used for game action after the school replaced the old surface with new Bermuda grass over the summer.

The Spartans made the exact same improvements to their field as well, and it won't be ready for Friday either. However, East Ascension doesn't play a home game until Sept. 12. The field is expected to be ready by then.

Meanwhile, the jamboree game between the two teams will be moved to Dutchtown on Friday night. The Griffins play their jamboree against Walker the night before.

The game will use the same format as last year--starting with a freshman game, followed by a JV contest and ending with the varsity game at roughly 8 p.m.
