St. Amant cross-country teams perform well at LaPlace meet

On Halloween, the St. Amant High cross-country teams participated in the River Parishes Championship Meet in LaPlace. Though a limited number of the girl's team members were available, they pulled out a second-place finish with three finishing in the top 15.

Lloren Lawrence placed fourth, Tytaya Guzman placed 11th and ran a personal record time, while Cristina Colon placed 15th.

Jillian Parks and Valentina Nunez rounded out the girl's team, placing 17th and 18th, respectively.

Also running for the girl's team were Sierra King--who also had a personal record time--and Jera’nae Donald with her best time this season. 

The boy's team also had their best finish of the season with a fourth-place team effort, and they also had three runners finish in the top 15.

Eber Revis placed 12th, Matthew Rosendale also placed 13th with a season-best time and Nathan Carmouche placed 14th.

Austin Parent and Beaux Roy completed the boy's team roster with 21st and 25th-place finishes, respectively. 

Also competing for the Gators were Kohl Poche--who placed 27th with a personal record time--Trevor Serpas, Garrett Parks, with a personal record time, Vertrell Harris, with a personal record time, Connor Smith and Jordan Schmidt--with a season-best time.
