Basketball coaching clinic set for this weekend

The Louisiana Association of Basketball Coaches (LABC) is once again sponsoring a coaching clinic for high-school basketball coaches on Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the LSU Basketball Practice Facility on North Stadium Drive in Baton Rouge. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m.

The speakers will include men’s college head coaches Johnny Jones of LSU, Stacy Hollowell of Loyola University and Larry Cordaro of LSU at Alexandria, along with men’s college assistant coaches Charlie Leonard of LSU and Kevin Johnson of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

The cost will only be $15 per coach for the first coach from each high school and $10 per coach for each additional coach from the same high school. This cost includes a light breakfast and lunch.
