It has been a busy National Signing Day throughout Ascension Parish.

To start the day, East Ascension had seven football players sign with colleges.

Parish Defensive MVP Justin Harris waited until today to reveal what would be the college of his choice.

He brought caps for Purdue, Baylor, LSU and Kansas to the table. He ultimately decided to become a Baylor Bear.

Dutchtown saw five athletes from three different sports sign at their gym shortly afterward.

For soccer, Bailey Cyprowski signed with Mississippi College, and in softball, Blayne Pence signed with Baton Rouge Community College.

Three players from the Dutchtown football team signed.

Both Kyle Sarrazin and Grant Ray signed with Louisiana College, and Adam Sparks signed with Missouri.
