Golfers support East Ascension, St. Amant

The 2011 Spartan / Gator Ryder Cup took place this week at Pelican Point Lakes golf course.

The tournament kicked off at 12:30.

They had 80 players playing in the golf tournament from the East Ascension and St. Amant communities.

The winner of the 2011 Spartan / Gator Ryder Cup was East Ascension by a score of 33-27.
