East Ascension falls to McKinley, 15-12

McKinley was able to run out the clock late to hold off East Ascension Friday for a 15-12 win in the District 5-5A opener.

Lenard Tillery ran for 215 yards to lead McKinley (3-3). The Panthers took advantage of a muffed punt with 2:50 remaining to keep the ball away from the Spartans.

Running back Jarmarcus Jarvis scored a touchdown and ran for 95 yards to pace East Ascension (4-2).
