Dunham tops Ascension Christian

Ascension Christian’s Logan Kinchen, Mohammad Baheth and Tyler Johnson getting ready for play. The Lions suffered a setback to Dunham Friday.

Coming off of a 32-20 loss to Ascension Parish team Donaldsonville last week, Dunham cruised to a win over another parish team in Ascension Christian.

Dunham outgained the Lions 324-97 in the game.

Grant Messer opened the scoring in the first quarter on a 12-yard touchdown.

In the second half, Ned Strasner returned an interception 38 yards for a score. Jordan Lange followed with a 40-yard touchdown run to pace Dunham in the win.
