LSU rolls to 47-21 win over West Virginia

LSU quarterback Jarrett Lee threw three touchdown passes to pace the Tigers in a 47-21 victory at West Virginia Saturday night.

No. 2 LSU pulled away after No. 16 West Virginia cut the halftime lead to six points.

Morris Claiborne broke away on a 99-yard touchdown on a kickoff return to deflate the Mountaineers.

West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith completed 38 of 65 passes for 463 yards and two touchdowns, but also threw two interceptions and lost a fumble.

Lee finished 16 of 28 passes for 180 yards.

Running back Spencer Ware ran for 92 yards on 23 carries, while Michael Ford compiled 85 yards on 13 carries with two touchdowns.

Tigers quarterback Jarrett Lee completed 21-of-27 passes for 213 yards against the Bulldogs.
