LSU hosts Northwestern State Saturday night

BATON ROUGE - A week after its biggest season-opening win in school history, LSU returns to Tiger Stadium for its 2011 home debut as the second-ranked Tigers host Northwestern State on Saturday.
Kickoff for the Tigers and the Demons is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will be televised on TigerVision, the school's pay-per-view network.
LSU brings a 1-0 record into the contest following last week's 40-27 win over then-No. 3 ranked Oregon. Northwestern State, coached by former LSU assistant Bradley Dale Peveto, rallied from a 17-0 halftime deficit to beat Delta State, 24-23, in its season-opener last Thursday in Natchitoches.
Saturday's meeting will be the 11th between the teams, but the first since a 40-0 LSU victory in 1942. LSU leads the overall series with the Demons, 10-0.
