Six LSU football players earned a nod on the Southeastern Conference Coaches' Preseason All-SEC teams.

Odell Beckham Jr. highlighted the list as the only player in the conference named three times to the All-SEC teams. Beckham Jr. received first-team All-SEC honors as a return specialist, second-team recognition as an all-purpose player and third-team honors as a wide receiver.

Defensive tackle Anthony Johnson and safety Craig Loston joined Beckham Jr. as first-team selections.

Linebacker Lamin Barrow was listed on the second-team defense, while running back Alfred Blue and offensive tackle La'el Collins were named to the third-team offense.

Beckham Jr., Loston and Johnson were also named to the media's preseason All-SEC first team released in July at SEC Media Days.

LSU earned eight selections on the Coaches' Preseason All-SEC squad, tied with Georgia for second-most in the conference. Alabama led the league with 16 selections.

No. 12 LSU is set to open the 2013 season against No. 20 TCU in the Cowboys Classic this Saturday. The game will kickoff at 8 p.m. CT, and it will be nationally televised by ESPN.
