Things keep piling up for the Honey Badger.

Tyrann Mathieu, who was kicked off of the team back in August, is now being investigated by the NCAA for possible rule violations.

Mathieu appeared on a video promoting a group of his friends known as "Era Nation's" upcoming party at Baton Rouge night club, The Palace on March 10 of this year.

Pictures of him were also on fliers for an event called "Era Nation Album Release Party for Tyrann Mathieu."

The NCAA prohibits student-athletes from allowing their name or likeness to be on any kind of advertisement of products and services.

Mathieu is not currently a student-athlete. However, he remains enrolled at LSU, and all indications point toward him playing ball next year whether it's with the Tigers or with another school.

If the NCAA rules that he has violated rules, he could be ruled ineligible for games when he makes his return to the field.
