LSU sophomore forward Jordan Mickey, one of two players in the Southeastern Conference averaging a double-double, is one of 25 players on the Lute Olson Award Mid-Season Watch List.

Mickey, who is averaging 15.5 points per game and 10.6 rebounds after recording his 10th double-double Tuesday night in LSU’s win at Florida, is one of two players from Louisiana schools and one of three players from the Southeastern Conference on the list.

Raheem Appleby from Louisiana Tech is the other state team player on the list with Willie Cauley-Stein of Kentucky and Bobby Portis on the list from the SEC.

Freshmen are not eligible for the Lute Olson Award.

Mickey was earlier in the month named the mid-season watch list for the John Wooden Award.
