Gonzales’ Trevor Hebert made Ascension Parish proud recently as he won the Chris Shiver’s MBR World Finals VII, presented by PBR.

Trevor is the son of Gary and Aimee Herbert. His older brother is Trey, and he is the grandson of Bubby and Susan Boudreaux and Gary and Glenda Hebert, Sr.

Trevor traveled many states and earned many points to get to the finals of the Chris Shiver’s MBR in Las Vegas back in October. After eight rounds of competition and after covering all nine bulls in the finals, he won the world title.

Bull-riding is Trevor’s favorite hobby.

The eight-second thrill ride he experiences during the competitions are his pride and joy, but it’s not easy. It takes hours of preparation, hard work and dedication from not just Trevor, but from his father, mother and brother pushing him to the top.

Trevor would like to thank his family and friends for all of their love and support.

His next event after Las Vegas was the Junior NFR World Tour. Trevor performed well once again and received a nice check and a new sponsorship from the American Hats Company.
