Black Dragon holds annual Mardi Gras tournament

Lily Abbott took first place for sparring in the Little Dragons division.

On Wednesday, Feb. 11, Black Dragon Martial Arts, LLC held their Mardi Gras tournament for all students, families and visitors.

The tournament included the Little Dragons ages 6-10, beginning Taekwondo and advanced Taekwondo--including forms and sparring.

Chelsey Leblanc took first place in forms and sparring. Little Dragon Lily Abbott took first place. Second place in Little Dragons was Landan Simmons. Logan Davis took third.

For sparring, Leblanc was first, Jorge Gonzalez second and third place went to Natalie Espinosa.

In forms, Grant Taylor and LeBlanc finally tied for first place.

As always, the instructor staff congratulates everyone--students and families alike for their performance and support for Black Dragon Martial Arts and its mission as a social service to this community.
