Black Dragon conducted their first in-house school tournament on Sept. 8.

On Sept. 8, Black Dragon Martial Arts, LLC conducted their first in-house school tournament. Every student from the Little Dragons (ages 6-10), the beginning Taekwondo, the advanced Taekwondo and the adult-only Tactical Hapkido took part.

Their instructors, Master Ken Ducote, Master Barrett Berard, Mr Marc Sholar and Miss Kristine Ducote judged the event. Every family member, students and instructors were pleased with the performance of each student.

To protect the names of the students given in the political climate, one can see the joy on the faces of the students. Black Dragon Martial Arts remains the headquarters for the Tactical Hapkido/ Universal Taekwondo Alliance under Grandmaster Barry Rodemaker here in Louisiana.

Master Ken Ducote, MA, NCC, LPC is a licensed psychotherapist in both Colorado and Louisiana. He is also a retired law enforcement officer and a Master martial arts instructor with over 40 years experience.

Black Dragon Martial Arts remains the family center for a social service to our community on both sport and real life-self defense. All students seen here worked hard to earn their rank and should be commended.
