Black Dragon Martial Arts, LLC is not just another " karate" school in town; it has a social service mission. Although they teach Taekwondo and Tactical Hapkido, what sets them apart from the rest is their contribution to the community they serve.

Giving talks about safety and involving themselves with the National Night Out Against Crime are just a few social and community services provided. The real milestone was set when Kristine Ducote, a second degree black belt in Taekwondo and Tactical Hapkido started up her Black Dragon Special Forces: Special Needs Program.

This program includes a licensed psychotherapist, special ed teachers, certified black belt instructors and most importantly, families. This program is the only one of its kind in the metro area where Black Dragon is located. Recently, Kristine Ducote was invited by Grandmaster Barry Rodemaker of the Tactical Hapkido/ Universal Taekwondo Alliance to present her program to the National Conference. It was a great honor and was met with open arms.
