Trojans ravage Grand Lake in homecoming, 58-6

East Beauregard back Logan Fox muscled his way for 42-yards on six carries during the Trojans 58-6 victory over Grand Lake Friday night.

The East Beauregard Trojans bounced back into the win column Friday night in dominating fashion defeating Grand Lake 58-6.

Lee Glass led the Trojans with four touchdowns on four carries for 136-yards.

The Trojans went to work early scoring 14-points in the first quarter. Glass got them on the board first with a 6-yard run, with Aaron Milner following on a 9-yard run and Josh Fletcher to Glass PAT to lead the Hornets 14-0.

The Trojans had a message to prove and started out the second quarter much like the first quarter outscoring the Hornets 20 to 0.

Glass got the ball rolling again for his second TD of the night this time from 14-yards out extending the Trojan lead to 22-0.

On his third carry of the game and second carry of the quarter he (Glass) found pay dirt on his game long 64-yard touchdown run extending their lead to 28-0.

East Beauregard quarterback Josh Fletcher found Thad Schecher on a 21-yard touchdown pass to end first half with a commanding 34-0 lead.

Picking up from where he left off in the first half, Glass scored his fourth touchdown on his fourth carry of the game from 52-yards out and a Milner run extending their 42-0 early in the third quarter.

James Bailey brought the Trojans third quarter scoring drive to an end finding the end zone on a 24-yard run and a Hunter Simmons run increasing their lead to 50-0 with one quarter remaining.

Kade Jackson put the nail in coffin on the Hornets with a 91-yard TD run and a Colby Lafauci point after for their final points of the game leading Grand Lake 58-0.

The Hornets only score of the game came late in the fourth quarter off a 20-yard run from Luke Miller falling to the Trojans (7-2, 5-1) 58-6.

"We're very proud of the way our kids bounced back this week," said Trojan coach gordy Glaser. "I really can not say enough about them. There is no where else in the world I'd rather be and there are no other kids in the world I'd rather coach than the kids I have here," he said.

Glass led all rushers with 136-yards on four carries with four touchdowns, while Kade Jackson finished 108-yards and Aaron Milner with 84-yards with both having one TD each.

Trojan quarterback Josh Fletcher went 1-for-3 in the passing department for 21-yards and a touchdown. Thad schecher had their lone reception of the night for 21-yards and a TD.

The Trojans will complete the 2013 season at home next week as they host the Elton Indians.
