LSU vs. Alabama set for primetime

LSU and Alabama will meet in primetime on CBS for the third-straight season, as the Southeastern Conference and its network television announced assignments for this weekend.
Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. CT at Bryant-Denny Stadium between No. 11 LSU and No. 1 Alabama. The matchup will be the second half of a doubleheader on the network.
The teams have split the past two primetime meetings, with No. 1 LSU beating No. 2 Alabama 9-6 in overtime in Tuscaloosa in 2011. No. 1 Alabama returned the favor 21-17 over No. 5 LSU last season in Tiger Stadium.
LSU has won 9 of its past 14 games against Alabama, including 5-of-6 in Tuscaloosa.
