CCA Louisiana releases redfish ahead of STAR July 1 start

CCA Louisiana’s Sam Barbera releases one of 50 specially-tagged redfish in a secret location, continuing the 16-year tradition of STAR.

The longest and richest saltwater tournament on Louisiana's coast, kicks off July 1 and runs through Oct. 3, offering prizes statewide to anglers of every age. 

The first participant landing a 2010 CCA STAR tagged redfish claims a brand-new Chevrolet pickup.
