Dutchtown won the Soccer Classic Championship held in New Orleans this weekend. The Lady Griffins opened the tournament with a 0-0 tie against Dominican before ousting Baton Rouge 3-0 and Clinton, Miss. 2-2. Dutchtown (9-0-2) then defeated Mount Carmel 2-0 in the semifinals before downing Lafayette 5-1 in the championship game. The Lady Griffins are coached by Anant Vyas. They are; 
front row, Jaynie Stewart. Middle; from left, Lexi Gibbs, Taylor Kelley, Chelsea Cruthirds, Kayla Cobb, Emily Rezac, Julia Catha and Ashley Alexander. Back; Torie Fournet, Kaylie Dinning, Lindy Robichaux, Stephanie Dusenberry, Baige Lipoma, Allyson Frager, Annie Etzel, Erica Sweeney and Megan Romaire.
