LSU adds Louisiana-Monroe, moves Southern Miss in future schedules
BATON ROUGE - LSU has made further adjustments to its future football schedules, adding Louisiana-Monroe for 2010 and moving Southern Miss to the 2011 season.
LSU will host Louisiana-Monroe in Tiger Stadium on Nov. 13, 2010 in Tiger Stadium. The Southern Miss game previously scheduled for that date has been moved to Nov. 12, 2011 in Tiger Stadium.
LSU and Louisiana-Monroe have met only one time, which was the 2003 season opener. The Tigers beat the Warhawks, 49-7.
The Tigers are 1-1 against Southern Miss. The last time the teams met was in 1994 when the Golden Eagles took a 20-18 win.
LSU is expected to schedule one more home game for the 2011 season.
