Falcon, District 9-1A co-MVP, makes her fourth straight appearance on the All-Parish team after earning first-team all-district honors for the fifth consecutive year. District 9-1A’s 2007 MVP, Falcon led the Lady Bulldogs with a .403 batting average and a .612 slugging percentage. Falcon also had a .931 fielding percentage and 10 doubles and two triples to go with 14 RBIs.
Ashlyn Grisaffe

Grisaffe, District 9-1A co-MVP, has been selected All-Parish four straight years and all-District 9-1A first-team five times in her career. District 9-1A’s 2008 MVP, Grisaffe was 19-8 with a .982 earned run average and 11 shutouts. In 164 innings, Grisaffe struck out 211 batters, while walking 25. Over three games in the state tournament, Grisaffe pitched 20 innings, striking out 24 and surrendering just 13 hits in a 25-hour span. Grisaffe signed a scholarship to play softball with Southwest Mississippi Community College.
Bridget Buquoi

MVP
Buquoi, the East’s MVP of the LHSCA’s All-Star game, makes her third straight appearance on the All-Parish team after earning first-team all-district honors for the third consecutive year in 6-5A. Buquoi led St. Amant with a .465 average and 36 RBIs overall. Buquoi also hit one home run and scored 37 runs while stealing seven bases. In district, Buquoi batted .424 with 13 RBIs and 12 runs.
Darrell Landry

Coach of the Year
Landry took over a seasoned Lady Bulldogs’ squad and led them to the Class 1A state championship in his first season as head coach. After winning the District 9-1A title for the third consecutive year, sixth seeded Ascension?Catholic defeated Country Day, Hanson Memorial, South Cameron and Delcambre before falling to Ouachita Christian 3-1 in the final and finishing as Class 1A runner-up. The Lady Bulldogs finished the year 20-14-1 and 4-0 in District 9-1A, earning Landry district Coach of the Year honors.
Rachel LeCoq

LeCoq makes her third straight All-Parish team after splitting time in the circle and at first base. A first-team all-district selection for the third consecutive season, LeCoq, also one of the Lady Spartans top hitters, was 9-8 overall in the circle with 153 strikeouts.
Aime Parent

St. Amant
Parent has been selected All-Parish for the third straight year earning all-district first-team honors for the third consecutive season. 2008’s MVP was 20-5 overall with a 1.35 ERA striking out 91 over 155 innings while walking 21. In district, Parent recorded a 5-3 record with 1.80 ERA striking out 30 over 50.2 innings and walking 10.
Alexi Reynolds

Reynolds makes her second consecutive All-Parish team after earning first team all-District 6-5A for the second straight year. Reynolds was 16-11 overall with a 1.20 ERA striking out 188 over 178 innings while walking 49. In district, Reynolds was 5-5 with a 1.81 ERA striking out 74 in 65 innings while walking 17.
Chelsea LeBlanc

LeBlanc makes her first All-Parish team after earning first-team all-District 6-5A recognition compiling a 10-5 overall record with a .123 ERA and 136 strikeouts in 97 innings. LeBlanc also batted .230 with 10 RBIs.
Emily Douglas

St. Amant
Douglas makes her second straight appearance on the All-Parish team after earning first-team all-district honors for the second straight year. Douglas batted .330 overall with 18 RBIs and 30 runs. In district, she batted .320 with four RBIs and eight runs. Douglas signed a scholarship to play softball at Nicholls State University. Douglas also represented the parish at the Louisiana High School Coaches Association All-Star doubleheader this weekend.
Tiffany Robinson

East Ascension
Robinson makes her first appearance on the All-Parish team after earning first-team all-District 6-5A honors. Robinson batted .346 with 15 RBIs, two home runs and four doubles.
Kandace Boudreaux
Junior Infielder
St. Amant
Boudreaux makes her third straight appearance on the All-Parish team after earning first-team all-district honors for the third straight year. Boudreaux batted .406 with three home runs, 28 RBIs and 27 runs overall. In district, Boudreaux hit .310 with seven RBIs and six runs.
Evan Babin

Babin earned first-team all-district honors for the third straight year making the All-Parish team for the third consecutive season. Babin batted .303 with 12 RBIs, three doubles and one triple with a fielding percentage of .982. Babin signed a scholarship to play softball at San Jacinto Community College.

Bouchereau earned first-team all-District 9-1A honors for the fifth consecutive season and returns to the All-Parish team after batting .343 with a .945 fielding percentage and nine stolen bases.
Annie Ourso

East Ascension
Ourso returns to the All-Parish team after earning all-District 9-1A first-team honors for the third consecutive season. Ourso batted .301 with a .505 slugging percentage and .966 fielding percentage. Ourso also had a team-high two home runs to go with five doubles, four triples, 10 stolen bases and 19 RBIs.
Melanie Parker

Parker returns to the All-Parish team after earning first-team all-District 6-5A honors for the second consecutive season. Parker batted .384 with 36 RBIs and 28 runs overall to go with a team-high four home runs while stealing five bases. In district, Parker batted .370 with 14 RBIs and eight runs.
Olivia Maher

Maher makes her third straight appearance on the All-Parish team after earning first-team all-district honors for the third consecutive season. Maher batted .250 with 13 RBIs and six doubles to go with a 1.000 fielding percentage. Maher signed a scholarship to play softball with East Central Community College.

Lassere returns to the All-Parish team after earning first-team all-District 9-1A honors for the third consecutive season. Lassere hit .273 with a .966 fielding percentage and seven stolen bases.

Still just a freshmen, Falcon makes her fourth straight appearance on the All-Parish team after earning all-District 9-1A first team honors for the third straight year. Falcon hit .329 with .971 fielding percentage, nine doubles, one triple and 13 RBIs.
Bailey Landry

Landry makes her debut on the All-Parish team after earning first-team all-District 9-1A honors. Landry batted .308 with 10 stolen bases and a team-high .471 on base percentage and 1.000 fielding percentage.
Amanda Martin

Martin was a multi threat for St. Amant this year earning first-team all-District 6-5A honors. Martin hit .364 with 15 RBIs and 20 runs overall while stealing 10 bases. In district, Martin hit .435 with four RBIs and seven runs and stole two bases. In the circle, Martin also was 8-0 overall with a .28 ERA striking out 50 over 49 innings walking just five. Martin was 2-0 in district with a .00 ERA striking out eight in 12 innings. Martin signed a scholarship to play softball with Louisiana College.
Jade Bourgeois

Bourgeois returns to the All-Parish team after earning first-team all-District 6-5A honors for the second consecutive season. Bourgeois batted .281 overall with 14 RBIs and 15 runs including four doubles and one triple while stealing six bases. In district, Bourgeois hit .250 with four RBIs and six runs. Overall, Bourgeois had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage as the Lady Griffins’ catcher.
Nancy Guillot

Guillot returns to the All-Parish team after earning first-team all-District 9-1A honors for the second consecutive season. Guillot batted .320 with team-high 19 stolen bases and a .931 fielding percentage as the Lady Bulldogs’ catcher.
Gabrielle Templet

Templet makes her first All-Parish team after earning first-team all-District 6-5A recognition this season. Templet batted .333 with 13 RBIs and 23 runs overall while stealing four bases. In district, Templet batted a team-high .471 with two RBIs and nine runs.
