Lady Griffins shutout East St. John, 10-0

GEISMAR - Dutchtown shut out East St. John 10-0 in a five inning District 6-5A game Thursday evening at Lady Griffin Park.

Alexi Reynolds pitched all five innings for the Lady Griffins (10-6, 1-1) surrendering three hits while striking out eight. Lauren Scioneaux took the loss for East St. John (1-14-1, 0-2) giving up 10 runs on nine hits and four walks while striking out three.

Jade Bourgeois was 3 for 4 with two RBIs and two runs, while Averi Parnell was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and one run, Hannah Bergeron was 1 for 2 with one RBI and one run,  MacKenzie Kohler was 1 for 3 with one RBI?and one run, Faydra Hall was 1 for 3 with one run and Justine Tureau scored two runs.

Dutchtown travels to Hahnville Tuesday.
