Letter to the Editor

The kindness of a stranger had such an impact on my day that I am writing this letter in hopes that he will read it and also to encourage others how something so small can have a huge impact on someone's day.  I was at the Gonzales Walmart yesterday and after having "a day" I was so discouraged and disgusted that I was down to what seemed like my last smile when a total stranger walked up to me and said one word to me-that word was "smile".  I couldn't have even imagined a more appropriate word that anyone could have said to me at that moment.  I was given a gift myself, much like that of that handsome stranger, the gift to make others smile/laugh whether it's by telling stories of all of the crazy things that always seem to happen to me in my life, or just a kind, encouraging word, or yes, even just a smile.  So I thank you for helping me get my smile back!!!! I really appreciate it, you have no idea how much!!!  Thanks again and God bless you!!!!!
