LA Senate Race
It’s time for a change from the career politicians who have always been supporting policies which continues to thrust us further down the Collectivist road to virtual slavery or worse. We need to send someone to Washington who will work to change all that, someone who will vote according to what is authorized by the Constitution.
That person needs to be someone who will champion the message of liberty, prosperity, and certainly — if possible — to grow our economy, protect our culture and defend our nation.
We are very blessed to have such a man running for the office of senator of Louisiana — retired Air Force Col. Rob Maness. He’s the man who can fill the above bill. And I, along with many others, believe he has a good chance, even though, at the outset, there was much evidence to suggest that he faced insurmountable opposition.
But things don’t look so bleak now. He’s on the way up and only beginning to fight.
He can’t do it by himself. He needs lots of help. And there’s where you and I come in — we get to enter the fray, what an opportunity just to do our little bit for someone that represents the things we believe in.
First, he has come from nowhere. To begin with, he only had enough finances only to approach getting started. The opposition just ignored him — they said he would never be able to raise the necessary funds. But at last report, he had raised about $1.5 million. He is going to need more, but he’s on the way.
He is opposed by two different power structures. However, regardless of which of them wins, the power above them is the winner, but I’d need a seminar to explain that. It is a given that Democrats, represented by Mary Landrieu, are one of these structures. The other is the ruling clique of the Republicans represented by Dr. Bill Cassidy, who has only a 40 percent rating with the Freedom Index based on how one votes relative to the Constitution. He has voted 60 percent of the time in violation of it.
So, since one of the main things of this ruling clique of Republican Insiders is to keep anyone like Maness from ever getting into position where they can cause the agenda any trouble, then it necessarily follows that they will pull out all the stops in an attempt to defeat him.
We can choose to stay on the sidelines, immersed in wishful thinking and self-defeatism or we can choose to bow our necks, roll up our sleeves and get in the fight, which could result in something positive. However, regardless of the outcome, we will know that we did what a man or woman has to do.
I’m asking you to pass this message on. Forward it to as many contacts as you can, asking them to do the same.
