LETTER: Reader thanks teachers

For teacher appreciation week May 4-8, I would like to acknowledge and thank a very special school and its awesome teachers and staff.

My children started Gonzales Primary School in the  2008-09 school year. My oldest daughter has several learning disabilities and needs extra help with her work. Since the first  grade, she has rarely had a grade over a “D”. Her self esteem was gone. At Gonzales Primary, she has made A’s, B’s, and only a  couple of C’s for the year.

Special thanks goes out to Ms. Eleanor, principal, her teachers,  Ms. Welch and Ms. Conyers, her extra teachers, Ms. Shelly, Ms.  Rossi, and Ms. Ware. I am deeply grateful to these wonderful teachers and staff for turning my daughter’s life around. Her confidence has been restored and she is a very happy child now.

I just wanted everyone to know how great Gonzales Primary is.
