LETTER: RRAAM?to reopen soon

As many of you know, we recently experienced a devastating hurricane in south Louisiana and are in the process of recovery. For those who share in this recovery, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Extensive damage was experienced in our state as well as in Donaldsonville, the home of the musuem. Thankfully, the museum itself has emerged with minor exterior damage. Currently our challenge lies in restoring power to the city. Because of this, the museum is closed. We anticipate getting power back on by September 17. If you are planning to visit the museum, please call ahead to make sure we are open.
