The everlasting love of Jesus

Minister Marienetta Williams

The Bible declares, “The Lord has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love:  therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you.” (Jeremiah 31:3)

This is the best love anyone should ever experience because the love of man wax cold sometimes but God has promised to love us, in spite of our flaws.  If man stays focus on the source of Love then hate would not be so prevalent.

The desire to be LOVED is the cry of many who have not known nor have been shown what true love is all about.  There is no substitute for what God has divinely imparted in the hearts of believers.  It is not natural to love someone who treats you with indignation and injustice.  But with the love of God in your heart, supernaturally He makes it possible to forgive over and over again and continually express love.

The world calls this foolish because all they know is retaliation but God calls it Righteousness.  The Bible says, “Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake.  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad for great is your reward in Heaven:  for so persecuted they the Prophets which were before you.”(Matthew 5:11-12)

“THE EVERLASTING LOVE OF JESUS,” will always seek to reveal the right way of handling a situation in order for all to be blessed.  It is easy to find faults and criticize one another but is this really the way of the CROSS.  God has made us uniquely different and you must agree that this is a good thing.  Why is so much time being wasted trying to mold others into what we think they should be instead of appreciating them for who they are?

“THE EVERLASTING LOVE OF JESUS,” represents the totality of who He is and what He desires each of His children to exemplify on earth.  The Bible declares, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done in Earth, as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6:10)  There is no hatred and unforgiveness in heaven.  If you want to experience this profound LOVE of JESUS, you must seek Him daily in the Bible.  This love is deeper than the flesh.  It is not based on what someone can do for you but it is based on what JESUS has already done.  The late President John Kennedy said, and I quote,

“Ask not what your country can do for you- ask what you can do for your country.”  A life of Love is not about you but truly it is about serving others.
