His name is Jesus
The virgin birth of Christ was pronounced to Mary as the fulfillment of the original plan of God which was spoken as a prophetic announcement in the book of Isaiah. “Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His Name Immanuel. Mary was the only virgin ever used for such an awesome assignment. The SON who would be born would be the Son of God. The word “Immanuel” means “God with us.”
In every situation we must face in life it is always good to know God is with us. Life presents many difficult circumstances but having The Son of God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth as our divine source of help will relieve your burdens and lift a bowed down head.
There is no need to face the last month of the year with a frown on your face and sadness in your heart. Jesus came into the world to loose the shackles and burdens of heaviness that’s seeking to weigh you down. “Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:4-5)
Facing the Cross of Calvary will keep your heart in peace even in the midst of the storms. We must not allow the message of the Cross to become lost in all the chaos presented at Christmas. The Christmas of the BIBLE is the only example you must follow which will always lead you back to CHRIST JESUS.
Family and friends gathering in prayer and sharing with others who may not have enough to survive must be willing to give with open hearts and hands. This is the plan of God that shall always stand. “And the people asked him, saying, “What shall we do then? He answered and said unto them, He who has two coats, let him impart to him who has none; and he who has meat, let him do likewise.” (Luke 3:10-11)
The real meaning of Christmas will only bring JOY when we cast our eyes back on the one who came to die for our sins. “HIS NAME IS JESUS,” the only wise Savior who was born to die as our REDEEMER. Peace and safety is in HIM. THE ONLY name is JESUS the SON of the LIVING GOD.
