Have you ever asked yourself this question, “Does God look at sin as big sin or little sin?  The answer is quite simple, No because “SIN IS SIN.”  God doesn’t look at murder as a bigger sin than adultery or gossip.  The Bible declares, “We have all sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Rom.3:23)

God does not categorize SIN.  We should never justify SIN.  The standard has already been set.  God hates SIN and so should we.  SIN is such a small word but it has huge ramifications.  It means missing the mark of God’s Holy standards.  We can also describe SIN as breaking or transgression against God’s law.  To be destitute of the WORD of God is a sure way of operating in disobedience and rebellion.

The Bible declares, “And the time of this ignorance God winked at, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. Because He has appointed a day, in which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He has ordained, whereof He has given assurance unto all men, in that He has raised Him from the dead.”(Acts 17:30-31)

The Apostle Paul’s message of repentance was delivered to the Athenians thousands of years ago.   This message has not changed it is as good today as in time passed.  The same Jesus who died for our sins is the same Jesus we must receive and understand that He is coming back again.

This is the season of the year when our hearts and minds are more in tune to what Jesus Death, Burial, Resurrection and Ascension is all about.  We must not take for granted the power of the Cross and what it means to us as Believers.

God does not desire any one to be ignorant.  He will judge SIN but He desire His people to focus on His LOVE.

The Bible speaks about Righteousness as being in right standard with God.  Having a relationship with God means doing what is pleasing to Him.  Think about it, “Have you been struggling with sin that’s pulling on your life, seeking to destroy your witness?  It’s time to remember where your strength comes from.  There is power in the name of Jesus. Call on your POWER SOURCE who has granted HIS GRACE.  The Bible says, “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law but under GRACE.”(Rom 6:14)

God’s GRACE and MERCY has not been granted to give us a license to sin.  Romans 6:22-23 declares “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, you have your fruit unto holiness, and the end of those things is death.  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Anyone who chooses to continue in SIN will forever be separated from God. There is never REPENTANCE for those who refuse to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Yes, SIN IS SIN but thanks unto God our Father for giving us a way of escape.  His name is JESUS and His name is not to be taken in vain.
