Beaman, Rita Pourciau King
She was born on May 5, 1946 and passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the age of 68. She was born in East Baton Rouge Parish and was a resident of Prairieville. She was a graduate of Redemptorist High School Class of '64 and a retired Route Coordinator for News on Wheels. She was a employee of ADD, Inc. for 16 years. Visiting was observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Tuesday, July 8.

A resident of Maurepas, he passed away on July 14, 2014 at 12:56 a.m. of natural causes. He was 76 and a retired heavy equipment operator. Interment in Whitehall Community Cemetery.
Brannagan, Patricia A.
A native of Johnstown, PA and a resident of Gonzales, she passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the age of 81. She was a member of the Gautreau Williams American Legion Auxiliary Unit 81 and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court, St. Rose de Lima #1194. She worked in the foster Grandparent program at Lake Primary for 10 years. Interment in St. Theresa Catholic Church Cemetery in Gonzales.
Brogan, Glenda Ann Armstrong
Glenda went to be with the lord peacefully in her sleep on June 24, 2014. She was 59 years old, born June 8, 1955 in Gonzales LA. Glenda was a resident at St. Christiana Nursing Home in Pineville, LA. She was a home health caretaker for 14 years before she retired to her home in Meadville, Mississippi. She loved to read her bible, paint, sing, and country life and the highlight of her life was her two grandsons. She is survived by one daughter, Alisha Brogan 34; and two grandsons Destin Brogan, 10, and Samuel Brogan, 9. Also one son, Jade Macaluso, 30. Preceeded in death by her mother, Ruth Legleu Lambert; father Joel Brogan Sr.; and her brother Mark (Doug) Brogan. Surviving siblings include one sister, Wanda Breaux and husband Claude; and older brother, Joel Brogan Jr. and wife Brenda. Glenda is also survived by one niece, four nephews, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and many close lifetime friends. Glenda was cremated at Magnolia Funeral Home in Alexanderia, LA. Her Memorial Services will be held at Greater Antioch Baptist Church, 2139 Nebraska St. Baton Rouge, LA on July 19, at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Doc. Levert Kemp. She passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at her residence in Donaldsonville. She was 66 and a native of White Castle. Burial in St. Phillip Baptist Church cemetery.

She was born on January 5, 1947 in East Baton Rouge. She passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. She was 67 and a resident of Prairieville. Burial in Oak Lane Memorial Park, Prairieville.
Frederic, Donald James “Donnie”
He died on Friday, July 4, 2014 in Montreal, Québec, Canada while vacationing. A native of Ascension Parish, he was born August 24, 1953, in Donaldsonville. Visitation was held at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, on Saturday, July 12. A memorial service honoring his life was also held on Wednesday, July 16 at Humphrey Funeral Home, Russellville, AR. While in high school, he performed with a folk group and his own band Dusty Roads. In 1971, he graduated from East Ascension High Schoo. He went on to play with the New Blues. He earned his bachelor's degree in 1978 from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He had recently been appointed by the Arkansas State Senate President to serve on the State's new Healthcare Quality and Payment Policy Advisory Committee, representing hospitals with more than 100 beds. He had earned fellowship status in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and had been active in both the Arkansas Hospital Association and the Louisiana Hospital Association.
Johns, Brody Paul
A resident of Gonzales, he passed away at 8:02 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 at his residence. He was a student at St. Amant High School where he was a member of the Wrestling Team and the FFA. he was 15. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Convent.
He was 59 and passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at his residence in Donaldsonville. He was born December 24, 1954. He was employed by D.O.T.D. and served in the military for seven years. Services were held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Donaldsonville.
