Babin, Julia Evelyn Price

A native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Lake, she passed away at 10:05 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, with Alzheimer's disease. She was 84 and graduated of Baton Rouge High School. She was a homemaker. Interment will be at Lake Cemetery.

Bercegeay, Helen Marie “Olive Oil”

A resident of Livingston, she passed away on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013 as the result of a seizure and a heart attack. She was 58 and a homemaker. Visitation will be at The Venue #4, in St. Amant, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5. Interment will be at Cornerview Cemetery.

Bosarge, Richard “Ricky”

He was 62 and passed away on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013. He was a native of Biloxi, Miss. and resident of Prairieville. He retired from Chemtura formerly known as Uniroyal in Geismar. He was a longtime member of the Krewe of Orion. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Campbell, Leonora Melvina Galindo

An employee of Cooper T Smith Stevedoring, Inc., in Darrow, she passed away on Monday, Nov. 18, 2013. She was 56, a native of Panama City, Panama, and a resident of Darrow. Interment in Community Cemetery.

Compton Sr., Richard

He passed away at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013. He was 67 and the owner of Compton’s Steam Cleaning and a member of the Diversion Canal Boat Club. He graduated from Lafayette High School in 1965 and proudly and honorably served in the Air Force from 1968-1969 during the Vietnam War. Burial at Hope Haven Garden of Memories at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville.

Dixon, Jr., Malcolm L. “Mac”

He passed away on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at the age of 75. He was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of St. Amant. He served in the United States Navy for four years and was the owner and operator of Portable Machine Works for 33 years. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Duplessis, Nolan

A native of Dutchtown, and resident of Debary, Florida, he passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 at the age of 78. He was a proud Marine Corp veteran and retired from Greyhound Bus Line after 36 years. He was very active in the Optimist Club for many years. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will resume at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville on Friday, Dec. 6, from 9:30 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery, Prairieville.

Guinn, Brent Allen Lamartiniere

He age 33 and was an automotive mechanic at Carroll's Auto Electric. He was a native of Stillwater, Oklahoma and a resident of Gonzales. He passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at 5:22 p.m. Arrangements were handled by Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales. (225) 647-8608.

Lee, Kearney Joseph

A lifelong resident of Sorrento, he passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013. He was 80 and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a graduate of St. Amant High Class of 1952. He had retired from Picou Builders Supply as a Yard Manager. He was a lifetime member of the McElroy Hunting Club. Entombment in Holy Rosary Mausoleum, St. Amant.

Martin, Eric Wayne

He passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 due to an accident. He is 18 and a native and resident of Gonzales. He was an 11th grade student at East Ascension High School. Visitation was held on Saturday, Nov. 30 at Ascension Funeral Home. .
