Breaux, Dianne       

She was 53, a homemaker and resident and native of Donaldsonville. She died at 1:05 a.m. Interment in Greater Israel Baptist Church Cemetery, Belle Rose.

Chan, Dorothy Elizabeth “Dotti Lee” (Perdue)       

A retired employee of Kellogg’s of Battle Creek, Mich., a homemaker and a resident of Gonzales, she died at 11:25 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. She was 86 and a native of Welsh. Interment in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Hotard III, Lt. Col. Joseph        

A resident of Prairieville, he was born July 3, 1924, and died at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009. He was born in Garyville. Funeral service will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane, Baton Rouge, at 10 a.m. Friday, March 13. Interment at 2 p.m. Friday at Port Hudson National Cemetery, 20978 Port Hickey Road.

Shirley, Ronald James        

He was 53, a native of Alhambra, Ill., and a resident of Gonzales. He died Monday, March 9, 2009, unexpectedly. He was an ordained minister.  Interment at Hope Haven Cemetery, Prairieville.

Trahan, Victor Myles “Vic”        

A pipe fitter and resident of St. Amant, he died Saturday, March 7, 2009, at his home. He was 47, born in Houma and a native of Amite.  Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Friday, March 13, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation at First Baptist Church of Donaldsonville on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Ascension Cemetery, Donaldsonville.
